Nailsea Croquet Club's league teams have had a busy week with four other matches.

Their Federation League team suffered their second defeat of the season losing by two games to five at home to Kingston Maurward on Thursday, despite having a 2-nil lead at lunch.

Results: Doubles – Jim Field & Ian Telfer won +18,

Singles – Greta Stringer won +2T(19-17) and lost –1T (15-16),

Geoff Hughes lost –4T (20-24) & -14,

Jim Field lost –12, Ian Telfer lost –7T (10-17).

This result means that Kingston Maurward replaces Nailsea at the top of the Federation League table and Nailsea drop to second place.
