Nailsea and District Croquet Club
The Croquet Courts are in Kenford Park
off Avening Close, Trendlewood Way, Nailsea, North Somerset.
Nailsea & District Croquet Club was started in 1981 and is now well-established as the only club within 20 miles with four international sized lawns. Club competitions and leagues matches are held throughout the season and the Club hosts tournaments for the Croquet Association and the South West Federation. In 2005 NDCC was one of the host venues for the World Croquet Championships . The Club also has a thriving Junior membership.
Players must wear their own flat-soled shoes but all other equipment is provided free of charge.
Tuition, in the form of 6-lesson courses, is given free to members, but otherwise a small charge is made to non-members (about £30). Players of all ages (10 – 110 !) are welcome, and physical fitness is not a criterion !
