The Marshall Midda Golf Croquet Competition

On Saturday, 19 May, ten members of Nailsea Croquet Club played in the Marshall Midda Golf Croquet Competition. The players were arranged in two blocks of five and everyone played all the other players in their block. Brenda Roynon won block A with four wins and Polly Reynolds came second with three wins. Brian Roynon won block B with four wins and Jim Gregory came second with three wins. In semi-finals Jim beat Brenda 7-5 and Brian beat Polly 7-3. The final will be played in September. Jim and Brian both qualify for the Area Finals of the Golf Croquet All-England Handicap Tournament.
