Apps Heley Award won by Nailsea

At a meeting in February 1999 the CA Development Committee decided to present the Apps Heley Award to the Nailsea Club. The club receives a cheque for £100 and an inscribed plaque. * * * The ward is given in alternate years to the club which has made the most progress at national or local level in the last two years. We succeeded against strong entries from 4 other clubs, Cheltenham, Pendle, Tyneside and Woodhall Spa. * * * Thankyou to everyone who returned the questionnaire which preceded our application and congratulations to all club members.
