SWF B League      Sat 21st August at Nailsea

Nailsea 5   Wellington 2

On Saturday their 'B' league team 1 beat Wellington at home by five games to two. Once again the club was short of players and so two of last year's beginners, VIOLET and RICHARD DELMAS, stepped in to make up the numbers. In the morning all the games went to time, with MARY BARNES and VIOLET winning the doubles and RICHARD narrowly winning his singles, but GEOFF HUGHES lost his singles by just one point.

In the afternoon GEOFF had a convincing win. The other games went to time with MARY having a good win, VIOLET losing and RICHARD narrowly winning by a single point. The team now has to wait for other results to find out their final position in the league.
