Nailsea Croquet Club Golf Croquet Competitions - Saturday 18th Sep 1999

Play continued throughout the day despite heavy showers. In the morning 22 players took part in the doubles, which was played in two blocks. The block winners were DAVID MURPHY & KATHY WALLACE and KRISS CHAMBERS & BERYL GRIFFITHS. These two pairs will play each other in the Final at Finals Weekend on October 2nd and 3rd.

In the afternoon 21 players took part in the singles, which was played in four blocks. The block winners were DAVID MURPHY, KRISS CHAMBERS, PETER DYKE and ARTHUR GREEN. These four players will meet in the semi-finals on or before Finals Weekend.

South West Federation Golf Croquet Finals - Sun 20th September 1999

The South West Federation Golf Croquet Finals were due to take place at Nailsea Croquet Club on Sunday. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain throughout Saturday night all four lawns were flooded on Sunday morning and the Finals were cancelled. At the time of writing this report there are no plans to reschedule this event.
