Croquet Club Open Day

On Saturday Nailsea & District Croquet Club held a very successful Open Day, which was well supported by over 30 visitors.  Indeed for a short while the Club ran out of equipment for them to use.  The visitors were taught how to play Golf Croquet, a simple version of the game.  At the end of the afternoon there was a collection in support of ChildLine.  Over the next six to eight weeks the Club will be running Beginners Classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons.  There is also a class for juniors from 4.00 to 6.00 pm on Fridays.  For further information contact Greta Stringer on (01275) 853 153 or Peter Dyke on (01275) 545 178.
