Advanced League -  Nailsea 4   Budleigh Salterton 1

On Monday Nailsea Croquet Club played their second Advanced League match of the season at Home.

The Nailsea team got off to a good start in the morning – in his first competitive game of the season, KRISTIAN CHAMBERS won the singles by a maximum 26 points with a triple peel and TERRY BALLARD and PETER DYKE won the doubles by 19 points.

In the afternoon KRISS had another win, this time by 11 points, GRETA STRINGER had a good win by 20 points, but in the closest game of the day TERRY lost by nine points.

This was a good win by the Nailsea team against a team that beat them last year to come second in their section of the league and takes Nailsea to fourth place in the league table with two games in hand.
