SWF - Advanced League: Nailsea 4  Worcester Norton 1

On Saturday the team entertained Worcester Norton Croquet Club.

The Worcester team had been held up in traffic and the morning’s play did not get under way until 11.30.

Before a very late lunch KRISS CHAMBERS won the singles by 21 points, but GRETA STRINGER and PETER DYKE lost a close doubles game by five points on time.

In the afternoon the Nailsea team won all three singles games, GRETA by 21 points, KRISS by 14 points and MARCUS EVANS by 11 points, to ensure victory by the Nailsea team.
