SWF Advanced league:  Bath 4  Nailsea 1

Nailsea were unsuccessful on Sunday, when they travelled to Bath.

The Bath team are currently lying second in the league table so the Nailsea players knew that they would have their work cut out.

In the morning MARCUS EVANS won the singles by 10, but PETER DYKE and PAT LONG lost the doubles by 10 points on time.

The Nailsea team lost all three of the afternoon games, MARCUS EVANS by 17 points, PETER DYKE by 15 and PAT LONG by 13.

The two results take the Nailsea team to third place in the league table with one game to play. Next Sunday they face Sidmouth, the current leaders of the league table, at home.
