Short Croquet Competition

Nailsea Croquet Club held its Short Croquet Competition, the first Club Competition of the season, on Saturday.

There were ten competitors and the event was run as a three round Swizz in the pouring rain.

The winner was GRETA STRINGER with three wins and the runner-up was BRIGIT CLAYTON with two wins.

Also on two wins were IAN TELFER, PETER DYKE and DAVID MURPHY, but BRIGIT beat them using the “who beat whom” and “quality of wins” rules.
