Nailsea player, 18-year old MARCUS EVANS won the Advanced Competition in the Challenge and Gilby, a Croquet Association Tournament held at Budleigh Salterton, Devon.

Marcus is one of the youngest winners in the 103-year history of this CA event.

The runner-up was Cliff Jones.
