Nailsea Croquet Club - Open Handicap Doubles Competition

Ten players entered Nailsea Croquet Club’s Open Handicap Doubles Competition.

The five pairs played each other in a block and in each game each player had bisques, equal to one third of their handicap, rounding down to the nearest half for lead players and up for other players.

Games were single banked with 3¼-hour time limits. Despite this seven of the ten games went to time.

3. MARY BARNES & BRIGIT CLAYTON, 2 wins.
4. GEOFF HUGHES & SHEILA WARE, 1 win.
5. PETER DYKE & EILEEN HUGHES, 0 wins.
