Marcus Evans took part in the Finals of the Golf Croquet All England Handicap Championship at Colchester over the weekend.
On Saturday he won 6 games out of 8 to finish 3rd in his block and just qualified for the top block of six players.
On Sunday his game stepped up a gear and he finished as runner-up on who beat whom, having lost to the eventual winner 6-7.
