High Bisquers' Competition

On Sunday, June 5th the Croquet Club held a competition for members with a high handicap. In spite of the rain, the games were played in an excellent spirit and the day provided an opportunity for some of the newer members to meet others from the Club.

Polly Reynolds provided the most exciting moment. Polly and Shirley Buckley were level when time was called but Polly held her nerve and scored a superb Golden Hoop from an awkward angle to clinch the game.

Rapid improver Rob Royffe won all three of his games while Sheila Ware and Polly won two each. The Final will be between Rob and Sheila in October.
